Big Brothers Have Come

Have you ever heard about The Big Brothers TV program? Since a week ago (fingers cross) Big Brother reality show has been broadcasted in channel 10 Oz. It is very famous program. You can find this kind program in UK, Sweden, etc. Wikipedia has recorded at least there have been 23 countries that have this kind program, including Thailand and Philipines.
According to previous years, Australians paid more attention on this program. Actually, I do not know what exactly the interesting points of this, because all you can see just people who are doing activities in the a house. However, some people says that is the point, because you can see them in every single activity, even taking bath.... hmmmmm (hahahaha)

A number of contestants from throughout Australia live in an isolated compound in Dreamworld, Queensland, known as the 'Big Brother House'. Housemates try to avoid being evicted through a public vote, with the aim of winning a large cash prize of up to $1,000,000 AUD at the end of a series. For Big Brother 2007 the contestants will receive no prize money ($0).

In Indonesia, we had this kind program which was "PENGHUNI TERAKHIR". It was aired in ANTV Indonesia, about a couple years ago. (I am not really sure about it recently ..sorry).

FYI, I wrote 2 things that are interesting. First, for celeb big brother that was held in UK, Shilpa Shetty, an indian actor, was the winner. She defeated some celebrities such as Jermaine Jackson (Michael Jackson' brother), and Dick Benedick (former The A Team actor). The audiences believed Shilpa won this competision because she was a victim of racist issue during that program. May be audiences felt sorry for her... May be...

And the second one was last year, the winner of Big Brother Program in Australia was Jamie Brooksby. Do you know why he won? Some people believed he had enourmos size down there... (you know what I mean????)... what a silly.... isn't it??

Anyway... lets see what will happen to this program this year....

Differences are differences

Every single difference can be immersed. It is non sense!!!! Let me give some examples… I will begin with this sentence….

I DO… That is the holy lines that have always been waited by marriage couple. Some people said that moment is the ultimate experience for couple to immerse their differences becoming one. Is that true? How about if they have difference in terms of religion? Could it be immersed by them?

Some will say yes…. But some will say…. I keep my religion as my personal life, no one can intervene it even my parents or partners. Finally, marriage between 2 persons who have different belief happens. Do they think about the consequences?

What will happen to their kid if they had? Are there still any tolerances between them to let their kid following one religion and ignoring another one? Or let their kid chooses the belief by him/herself when he/she becoming an adult? Hence what will happen before he/she has been an adult yet? Letting him/her being atheism? No guidance at all from parents?

Another one is quite new and becomes headline at MX Sydney newspaper Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Have you ever read about what is happening to Elizabeth Hurley’s marriage? She has married with Indian born UK millionaire man which is Arun Nayar. The newlyweds have been accused of breaching Indian wedding, by drinking alcohol, not taking off shoes, not wearing proper dress covering her body, and being photographed while kissing. A devout Hindu has begun legal proceedings saying Liz’s ceremony broke with customs. The couple has been charged with an intention to outrage the feeling Hindus by insulting their religious and ritualistic belief. They can get unlimited fine and possible 3 years prison sentence. The worst thing is willingness of Liz’ father in law to testify against them…

Now let me leave you with this question…
Can you still immerse differences in religion and culture?
The answer is all up to you…

Mom ….. Dad, I will sue you…

“Smack me and then I will meet you in the court”.

It sounds a perfect jargon right now in Australia. Parents do not have right to smack their kids anymore. This becomes prominent issue since every television channels have broadcasted it. Some experts and psychologists believe smacking kids triggering mental disorder in the future. But some parents been asked by TV reporters saidWhy do not they have right to smack their kids anymore for education purposes? …They smack because they love their kids and smacking is the last way to teach discipline. Moreover, they said they do not smack their kids on their face (slapping). They smack kids to teach them which one is right and which one is wrong?

So guys…. Do not be surprised.. if someday… you will hear parents are sued by their kids due to smacking….

True Love Will Last Forever

You are falling in love with someone and vice versa, but God gives another destiny for you both. God sends another one to become her partner in marriage.. What will you do then???
Let her go and find another woman to become your soul mate? Or keep fighting to get her back?
Ask to Edward Norton…. He will choose the 2nd option and show his best effort…. Fortunately he has capability as an illusionist..
This is the main story line of THE ILUSIONIST..

Young Eisenheim (Edward Norton) was a poor and nerd boy. He had no friends. One day when he was walking through the savana… he met an old man was sitting and leaning his back on the tree. He was attracted by the old man when he was being showed hand trick which was missing the ball. He was very impressed when the old man disappeared as well as the tree. Since it, he decided becoming an illusionist. One day he met and felt in love with a wealthy and aristocratic girl, Sophie von Teschen (Jesica Biel) but it did not work. Girl’s parents already arranged the married for her with another man who was wealth as her. They lost of contact.

Frustrating makes him deciding to move out from his village and more focus on learning some trick autodidactic. Performing around the state makes him famous in Vienna. One day royal families ask him to perform and when he needs a volunteer, the royal chooses lady Sophie to become as. Past love comes again….Since that time… they plan to escape from her fiancĂ©e.

This interesting movie takes early 20 century as its background in Vienna, Austria. You can see how beautiful Vienna in autumn, and how illusion could be used as a best way to get your real love back. Fantastic… Fabulous… and according to this movie... we have proven that love can manipulate human beings.

But the most impressive thing in this movie is how excellent Edward Norton plays his role… you can see how perfect his performance… And through his face and eyes…. He can show his feeling exactly to the audience without saying anything especially when he is sad… pathetic… BRAVO EDWARD NORTON… And Jesica Beil... she has aristocratic face... very beautiful.
