I am not really sure about this.... When someone has finished his/her study, he/she celebrates it..... Is this Indonesian costums or westerns? No matter what is that.... Today we (left to right: Ms Eni, Ms Rulli, Ms Cath, Mr Ian and me, and Mr Wayan as a photographer) celebrated Cath's graduation from University of Sydney as well as farewell party... because tomorrow she will come back to Indonesia. It means she has M.Med.Ed at the back of her name. Actually we are her juniors in medical education program at faculty of medicine whereas Ian is one of her roommates and studying at faculty of medicine as registra (aka Koass=Bahasa).
Dixon house, where is located close to Supercity market (China Town area), might be the place where we won't forget... Here we had the party. We (Cath... actually.... heheheh) ordered many foods, such as Empek-empek as entry food... then main course such as Soto Babat, Nasi Rawon, and Chicken Satay... and vegetarian rool and fish cakes as deserts. For drink, we ordered Coconut ice, and cendol... You can imagine.... even we are in Sydney now... but our taste is still Indonesian.... heheheheh... HIDUP INDONESIA... MERDEKA!!!!!!
After we finished our meal... every persons had to give short speech for Cath... It was a funny and emotional moments as well. It looked like we would loose one of our friend... but every persons deliver his/her speech in funny ways. However, I saw Cath's glassy eyes.... (am I right, Cath?). And Cath said, "No words can describe how I feel right now".
Congratulation to you dr. Catharina Widiartini, S.Ked, M.Med.Ed.
