What a long road for being honest

I went to the ATM 3 days ago. My first intention was just to check my account balance. But, the fact i got more than i intend. Right at the top of ATM, i found a wallet. To make sure it was not fake then i peeked inside. I found a bunch of cards. So the result... it was not fake. Someone had left it. 

Some ideas came accross in my mind whether letting it there or taking it with me then handing to the owner. I chose the second option. 

Preventing me from some suspicious eyes, i just kept it in my pants' pocket. I was just affraid if anyone caught me and though that i am a sort of a thief. Moreover, to protect anyone from stealing that wallet.

When i looked into the wallet, I found a bunch of cards such as

1. 5 Key cards from some famous banks (2 BNIs, Mandiri, Mega, and Bukopin)
2. (I assume) Owner's and his wife's ID's cards
3. Driving license, and 
4. Tax payer card, etc but surprisingly, no money at all... hmmmmm.... (I was wondering whether anyone had taken them or no...) 

A day after, i planned to hand it to the owner. However, since the owner lives in other district where it is quite far from my home and i can not find any phone number that i can dial to, then i decided to go to the bank. I was asking to the costumer service about the possibility to get the phone number. Unfortunately, by the name of safety reason, they contacted for me... and.... the mobile phone was off. Good damn it.... may be i have to keep it for the rest of my live... hahahahaha...

Thanks God, the devil was defeated by the angel, so when i was telling my brother, luckily, he knew a friend who knows the owner.... so for short story.... now the wallet is save in the right hand.....

I do believe.... it is not easy for being honest....
