Wentworth Waterfall

During odd semester break, our colleague from Macquaire University invited us to go to his home at Glenbrook, an interesting area nearby the famous Blue Mountain. He has been our supervisor for a project which was a translation on Indonesian medical document. Many of my colleagues have been there, however it was an interesting invitation from him and his wife... so we did not throw that moment into bin.

We departed from Central Station at 9.18 in the morning, and it took about 1 hour going to Glenbrook by train. It costed almost AUD 12 each for return ticket. Rulli and Nur went first, while I, Wayan and Enni went afterward because it was difficult to catch the bus to Central Station on the Sunday morning.

I and Enni were not recovery yet because a day before we went to Snowy Mountain and arrived at Sydney at 10 pm.. What a tired... But it was ok... no ones can reject great opportunities. :)

Due to electricity problem, our train arrived late at Glenbrook station.. fortunately Prof Rufus and his wife Jeanette had been there for picking us... From Glenbrook we rode two cars to Wentworth Waterfall. It took about 30 minutes.

Me, Wayan & Prof Rufus

I think, Wentworth area was not different with Katoomba unless the waterfall, so for me it seemed memorizing my previous experience. We did bush walking and saw the waterfall with all but Enni and Jeannete. Enni felt exhausted and Jeannete should take care of her.. I am so sorry Enni...
It took about more than 1 hour before we met the restaurant for having lunch. We were there about 1 hour. FYI, we had lil bit funny experience when we ordered lunch. Most of us still were not full enough, because the meal was so small... not enough for slaves' gut like us... ;).

Jeannete, Eni, Nur & Rulli

To catch the cars, we should walk in the bush (again)... and because Enni felt well already, she joined with us... (I bet you were hungry so you could not walk... hehehe).. While we were walking... it was rain... and most of us took umbrellas... i was interesting... cause i felt stupid when we walked in the bush meantime we hold the umbrella...but it was better than got sick.. right? :)

About 4 pm we departed Glenbrook station, but beforehand we went to Prof R's house.

For Prof Rufus and Jeannete... thank you very much... You were such kind persons.

@Tari: McQuarie mana nih? McQuarie point? apa McQuarie University?
